KARUL PROJECTS - SILENCE

BlakDance’s Performing Country is a purposefully crafted On Country residency for contemporary Indigenous choreographers to develop new dance works. Through a creative development residency tour throughout Queensland, leading Indigenous choreographers will engage local communities in the creation of their work, collaborate with community leaders and emerging artists, and uncover the next generation of Indigenous performance makers.

Post COIVD-19 situation, Karul Projects Performing Country was postponed at the beginning of 2020, and was rescheduled to June 2020, with an online creative development.

If you are interested in engaging with Performing Country, please contact admin@blakdance.org.au
